Original Title: Beurokeo
Directed by: Hirokazu Koreeda
Synopsis: In this captivating South Korean drama, young single mother Moon So-young (Ji-Eun Lee a.k.a. IU) reconsiders her actions having abandoned her baby outside a church and discovers a scheme where two men, Ha Sang-hyun (Song Kang-ho) and his friend Dong-soo (Gang Dong-won), are selling foundlings for adoption. She confronts them and, with two female cops in pursuit, joins them on a road trip odyssey as they seek out potential parents.
Purr Blur: After So-young reacts violently to the first couple looking to buy the baby, the trio move on and stop by the nursery where Dong-soo was raised after he too was abandoned as a baby. The residents and proprietors are pleased to see him and as they and the travellers enjoy a celebratory evening meal at a local restaurant a ginger tabby cat with white paws is eating something on the pavement outside.

The cat stops eating and looks towards the camera, but has in fact spotted another morsel which it hurries over to and feeds upon.

Final Mewsings: Adopting a cat is so much less hassle.
