Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Flamboyant baseball fan Annie Savoy (Susan Sarandon) is torn between two choices of an affair with either clueless but talented rookie Ebby Laloosh (Tim Robbins) or his seasoned and underappreciated catcher Crash Davis (Kevin Costner).
Kitty Cameo: Annie owns a long-haired ginger tabby cat which is only seen briefly in the film. Under the opening credits, the cat is seen chasing across the lawn after Annie when she leaves her home.
Later in the film the cat is in bed with Annie and Crash, playing toe monster with the couple as Crash gets up in the morning.
The cat is only seen once more as Annie tries to clean up the mess in her kitchen. Annie pauses when she finds the butt of a joint and sits down to light it and relax.
Final Mewsings: Cats worship at the altar of messy kitchens.
