Directed by: David Irving
Synopsis: The Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers are back (kind of) in this horror sequel.
Purr Blur: While searching a facility for Bud, a reanimated corpse, the security team led by Colonel Masters (Robert Vaughn) zero in on a closet. Upon opening the door, a spring-loaded black cat leaps out (or is dropped out, actually) and scares everyone.
The cat can be seen running away up the corridor just before Bud jumps out of an opposite door at the men.

Final Mewsings: Cats in movies seem to hang out in closets just waiting to scare people a lot.
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the cat in this film!
