Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The dramatic telling of a Colorado State Prison break in which twelve men make a run for freedom, filmed at the locations of the actual events.
Kitty Cameo: Late in the film prisoner Jim Sherbondy (Scott Brady) hides in the home of the Bauer family. While there he sits in a room with the family, playing with the boy’s toy gun. The flashing gun makes the long-haired cat being held by little Myrna Bauer (Phyllis Douglas) nervous.
As Sherbondy tells the family his story, Myrna hands him her cat. He holds it during his entire monologue. The cat, which has been nervous, is very still even when he is being held awkardly.
Sherbondy hands the cat back to the girl at the end of the scene. The cat is not seen again.
Final Mewsings: Cats can calm convicts.
