Directed by: Gerald Thomas
Synopsis: Mid-shipman Albert Poop-Decker (Bernard Cribbins) joins the frigate Venus; thus begins a series of madcap parodies of sea pictures from the Carry On gang.
Kitty Cameo: Poop-decker is brought up before Captain Fearless (Kenneth Williams) who is seated at the desk in his cabin stroking a grey cat.

Fearless seems inclined toward leniency but First Officer Jonathan Howett (Donald Houston) insists Poop-Decker receive “a taste of the cat.” Everyone shoots a look at the cat before Fearless realizes Howett means the cat-o-nine-tails.

Final Mewsings: Cats are always willing to sit in for a quick pun.
