Synopsis: Newsreel footage shows a young boy with his pet mice who are paid a visit by the neighbor’s cat named Debby.

Reality Cat: The little boy is eight-year-old Theodore Bucher who, as the narrator explains, has a talent for making friends with animals. He is seen playing with numerous mice on a table. The neighbor girl then enters carrying an adorable white cat with black markings named Debby.

The girl lets Debby jump on the table with the mice.

Debby is then seen eating from a saucer of food with the mice around her.

Debby then plays with the mice, getting only slightly rough, before eating another saucer of food another girl brings. This time the mice appear to be sharing in Debby’s food.

Debby continues to paw at the mice although she is probably sluggish from all the food.

Final Mewsings: Debby probably would have wanted mice for dessert if she hadn’t been so full!
