Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A lost cat brings together a young woman and man who seem to be made for each other.
Featured Feline: While driving home from her sister’s wedding, Silvie (Shanna Collins) almost runs over an orange tabby cat that runs across the road.
Silvie gets out of her car and finds the cat hiding underneath a car. She finally coaxes the cat out by meowing.
Silvie calls the number on the cat’s collar tag and reaches a guy named Brandon (Michael Hanson) who is excited that his cat Meghan has been found.
After meeting Brandon outside his house, Silvie ends up going inside where Brandon gets Meghan something to eat.
Brandon and Silvie sit down to talk and hit it off. When they have sex that night, Meghan the cat purrs in approval (it is clear a fake cat is used for the shot of Meghan watching the couple make out).
There is a twist to the short we won’t give away here, so be sure to watch all the way through to the end!
Meghan was played by cat actor Charlie with handler Jubel Chen of Good Dog Animals.
Final Mewsings: Cats can bring people together.
Many thanks to Ted Davis for spotting this short cat film for us.
