Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A cougar abanonded as a cub is adopted by Jess Bradley (Ron Brown) and makes his home in a logging camp where trouble inevitably ensues.
Kitty Cameos: At one point in the story Charlie is lost and comes across a farm. Looking into the barn he sees a man milking a cow. Three cats, two tabbies and one tuxedo, are sitting by the man and drinking the milk he squirts their way from the cow’s udder.
The milk usually misses the cat’s mouths and goes all over them instead.
The cats turn in unison and spot Charlie before they take off running.
The tabbies duck into a nearby stable.
The tuxedo jumps into a barrel.
The milker doesn’t realize at first that Charlie has taken the place of the cats and squirts milk at him. Funnily enough all the scenes of squirting milk seem a bit more than what would usually be produced from one squeeze of a cow’s teat, but this is especially so when it comes to Charlie drinking, it seems more like a steady stream! When the milker notices who is drinking the milk, he runs, the cow starts, the pail and milk goes flying and the tuxedo cat, who has peeked out, ducks back down.
Final Mewsings: Cats appreciate milkers with better aim.
