Synopsis: A sequel to The Summer of ’42 finds Hermie (Gary Grimes), Oscy (Jerry Houser) and Benjie (Oliver Conant) graduating from high school and heading for college and the military.
Purr Blur: Near the end of the film Hermie returns home from college after a family tragedy. During this scene a gray cat is being held by a family member. The cat is only seen very briefly, whereas the family dog gets more screen time.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like being upstaged by dogs.
