Synopsis: Young American Melinda Greyton (Elizabeth Taylor) falls in love with British Major Michael Curragh (Robert Taylor), little realizing he is actually passing government secrets to Soviet communists.

Purr Blur: Near the end of the film Major Curragh is headed to the house where he meets the Russian agents.  As he reaches the street up a flight of stairs a black cat moves from the sidewalk to the street and runs away.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like traitors, either.
