Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Jules (Courtney Cox) worries about her son’s job prospects and Laurie (Busy Philipps) tells an elaborate lie to help Ellie (Christa Miller) get Stan into an elite school. Meanwhile, Grayson (Josh Hopkins) says Andy (Ian Gomez) can choose anything he wants to do for Bro Day, not realizing he would choose to make a cat video.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): It’s when Tom (Robert Clendenin) enters the bar and asks Grayson for a tiny umbrella because he and his cat Snowball are going to make a cat video that Andy realizes it is what he wants to do for Bro Day.
The trio begin arguing about what kind of cat video to make. At first they try doing something with Snowball as a Catcountant, but Grayson suggests that if they do a cat video for Bro Day it should at least be more interesting.
They finally agree the cat will be behind the bar serving drinks but they disagree on what film to parody. Grayson wants to do a Cocktail spoof called Cattail but Andy wants to do a film noir spoof called Catsablanca.
Snowball doesn’t seem to care either way.
Tom even gets a pair of cat paws to use as Snowball’s paws to pour the drinks.
While they had planned to shoot the Cocktail spoof, at the end of the episode under the credits they show the black and white spoof Catsablanca with Snowball bartending with the fake paws, which are useless when it comes to actually pouring the drinks.
Final Mewsings: Cats make good bartenders; they listen but don’t necessarily care.
