Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Det. Davies (Bernard Cribbs) takes on the cold case of a missing young girl which leads down unexpected roads.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Davies visits Ena Lind (Maureen Lipman), a school friend of the missing girl. She invites him into what she calls the “Green Room” which is, indeed, made up of all green decor. As she offers him a green drink he looks down at the couch and sees a formerly white cat which is green.

Ena turns to pick up the cat, saying, “Move, Limey!” As she sets the cat on the floor, Davies says he’s never seen a green cat before. “It’s a bit pricey to get her dyed,” Ena admits. “Mind you, it makes for talking points at dinner parties.”

Final Mewsings: Cats should not be dyed for matching decor or talking points.
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the cat in this film.
