Directed by: Garry Marshall
Synopsis: Small time con man Tom Turner (Greg Kinnear) finds himself working in the dead letter office at an L.A. Post Office and inadvertently inspires his co-workers to start helping those who have written letters to God.
Kitty Cameo: One of the acts of kindness the postal team embark upon is delivering pets to seniors in a home. They enter carrying puppies and Herman Dooly (Tim Conway) is carrying an orange and white cat. He tries to give the cat to an elderly man in a wheelchair. The man sneezes and rolls outside.
The nurse tells Dooly that the man is allergic to cats and he hands the cat to her instead. Dooly chases after the man who keeps rolling away outside.
Final Mewsings: Sad to see the only cat in this scene treated as a joke.
