Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Low budget horror misfire about a young woman named Lise (Shelby Leverington) who avenges herself upon the descendents of those who executed her ancestor as a witch.
Kitty Cameo: In a movie about witches one would think a black cat would be present throughout much of the film. Unfortunately you have to sit through (better yet zoom through) to the end where the cat finally appears in Lise’s apartment. Her love interest Jake (Norman Paige) discovers blood coming from an adjacent room and goes to investigate. As he opens the door a black cat runs out past his feet.
After discovering the bloody remains of one of Lise’s victims, Lise enters the room holding the cat.
It’s about this time that Peter Vroot shows up looking for the killer who has plagued his family.
A fight between Peter and Jake ensues. Lise is in the background holding the cat during the fight.
Final Mewsings: The scariest part of this film is the fact the cat doesn’t show up until the end!
