Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Deuce Bigalow (Rob Schnieder) is a fish tank maintenance man who falls into misadventure when he decides to try his hand at being a gigolo.
Kitty Cameo: In the course of the movie Deuce falls for a girl named Kate (Arija Bareikis) and meets her at her house one day. Kate has a newly blind roommate named Bergita (Dina Platias) who is first seen holding a slipper. A long-haired multi-colored cat is on the counter behind her.
After saying hello, Bergita says she is worried about the cat Cassie. Kate then takes away the slipper and puts Cassie the cat into Bergita’s lap.
Later Deuce and Kate want to make love but Deuce breaks the chain on the lamp and has to find a chair to reach the broken part. He enters the kitchen where Cassie is sitting on a stool. Cassie jumps to the floor as Deuce takes the stool. This might have been a set up for a joke to follow that never happens.
Cassie the cat only appears one more time as Kate is telling Deuce to go away. Bergita is in the kitchen breaking eggs and accidentally dumps one of them on Cassie’s head. According to the Animal Humane Association the egg was gently dropped on the cat by its trainer and it was immediately wiped off.
The cat actor appears to be Pearl in the first scene and / or possibly Elvis in other scenes.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like having egg on their face.
