Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: In this Bray Studios short, Dinky Doodle and his dog Weakheart sit with creator Walter Lanz to tune in to some fairy tale bed time stories on the radio.
Cartoon Cat: Lanz takes the screen off the speaker of the radio and is surprised when an animated feline jumps out.
The narrator calls the cat Molly the Mouser and she is soon followed by five kittens who also jump out and land on her back. She then leaps away.
Lanz is finally able to tune in the proper station which is playing Hey Diddle Diddle. The cat is playing the fiddle with the plate and spoon dancing nearby.
The narrator also refers to this cat as Molly and everyone dances to her playing, which she does in different ways.
Molly even manages to fry eggs in her fiddle.
Finally Molly serenades the cow, encouraging her to jump over the moon.
Final Mewsings: When cats become musicians they don’t fiddle around!
