Directed by: Richard Lowenstein
Synopsis: A group of young artists, musicians and assorted others live together in a disheveled house in Melbourne, including Sam (Michael Hutchence), the drug addicted lead singer of a band called Dogs in Space, his girlfriend Anna (Saskia Post) who also starts using heroin, Luchio (Tony Helou) a college student trying to study amidst the constant commotion, and a mysterious transient known only as the Girl (Deanna Bond).
Kitty Cameo: A tiny tortoiseshell kitten also lives in the house and is first seen eating some discarded pot pie from a pan while the band is rehearsing.

It isn’t clear if the kitten belongs to anyone in particular, although she is most often seen in the company of The Girl.

This tiny kitty only appears three times, including near the end of the film as Anna memorably exits the home. She passes The Girl who is petting the kitten on the front porch.

Only Anna and the kitten seem to notice the glowing limousine as it pulls up in front of the house.

Final Mewsings: Cats prefer a space which isn’t quite so crowded.
