Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Chloe (Krysten Ritter) invites June (Dreama Walker) to her parents’ house for Thanksgiving which turns into an awkward experience because of June’s affair with Chloe’s dad (Michael Landes) and Chloe’s issues with her mom (Marin Hinkle).
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): For reasons too complicated to explain here, Chloe has June arrive in a wheelchair pretending to be paralyzed. Chloe’s mom, who actually has to be in a wheelchair, goes out of her way to assist June whenever she can, including transferring her into a stair lift so she can get upstairs. As June rides the slow lift up the stairs, the family’s tabby cat Freckles sits on one step watching her.

The cat is still there as Chloe’s dad, the person June was going upstairs to see, comes running down the stairs.

Late in the episode when things have gone crazy, June is asked to leave the house. As she opens the door, Freckles the cat darts outside. June realizes by the expressions on the family’s faces that Freckles is not an outdoor cat.

Finally after Chloe leaves she and June have a mock fight on the street outside the house while her parents and Freckles watch from the window.

Final Mewsings: Holidays can be crazy, even for cats.
