This review contains a mild Kitty Carnage Warning!
Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Craig Gamble (Frankie Avalon) is a woman-loving secret agent on the trail of the notorious Dr. Goldfoot (Vincent Price), a mad scientist who is using voluptuous robots to bilk rich men out of their money.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Gamble tracks Goldfoot down to a funeral parlor where he sneaks in the window. A black cat is lying in front of a display coffin.
Goldfoot’s assistant Igor (Jack Mullaney) appears, dusting the coffins.
Gamble is amazed when Igor climbs into the display coffin!
Igor pauses to say to the cat, “I’ll feed you later, Rasputin.” Rasputin meows a response as Igor disappears.
Mild Kitty Carnage Warning! When Gamble walks over to the coffin he is shocked to see nothing inside! As he starts to step closer to investigate he inadvertently steps on Rasputin’s tail (it doesn’t appear as if the foot steps hard at all on the tail.)
Rasputin lets out a Poor Cat Screech which startles Gamble into falling into the coffin. The cat takes off and is not seen again.
Final Mewsings: Many Poor Cat Screeches can be translated to “Mind the tail!”
