Synopsis: Pete Nessip (Wesley Snipes) is a suspended FBI agent on the trail of a fugitive computer hacker (Michael Jeter) sprung by a group of ruthless parachuting criminals.

Kitty Cameos: In the beginning of the film the incarcerated computer expert, Earl Leedy (Michael Jeter) is seen as he enters the exercise area. He carries a bundled up newspaper over towards a drainage culvert, calling for some kitties. A long-haired orange tabby named Buford and a short-haired gray tabby kitten named Betty rush to meet him.

Leedy greets the cats and then calls for a third cat, a long-haired white cat named Agnes.

Leedy feeds the cats some scraps and pets and talks to them, not realizing that a prison thug is coming up behind him with a shank.

As the man lunges at Leedy the cats scatter (well, all except for Betty, who continues eating).

Leedy is saved by a prison guard and the FBI is brought in. Agent Nessip and his brother Terry (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) are shown Leedy who is sitting in a room holding Agnes. They are told they need to transport Leedy to a safe place so he can stand trial. Terry asks if they have to take the cats as well.

Sure enough the cats are seen being loaded in carriers onto the plane. The flight does not go as planned, though, with bombs going on and people falling out. No word on what happened to the cats, though.
