Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The specialty of putrid pimp Delios (Dick Gautier) is luring teenaged girls into a life of prostitution, in which sordid endeavor he’s aided by the equally vile Jeanne (Trisha Noble), but hard-nosed Earl Eischied (Joe Don Baker), NYPD Chief of Detectives, is committed to shutting down the profitable, yet sleazy operation and putting the two slimy criminals behind bars.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): It’s a rarity for workaholic Eischied — a restful afternoon watching a soccer match on tv with his cat P.C. and his thoughtful girlfriend Irene Stefan (Laraine Stephens), who has ordered a veritable smorgasbord to be delivered for their enjoyment. At the beginning of the scene, P.C. is resting in Eischied’s lap.

Eischied lets P.C. slip to the floor to wander around the apartment while the delivery men come and go and Eischied gets an urgent phone call from work.

At the end of the sequence when Eischied finally sits down to eat they look down to see the happy cat polishing off a plate of imported sardines, provided specially by Irene.

Final Mewsings: Irene didn’t neglect the cat during the feast, and proves herself most definitely to be a keeper.
