Original Air Date: April 25, 2013
Starring: Jonny Lee Miller, Lucy Liu
Directed by: Larry Teng
Synopsis: Holmes and Watson (Lucy Liu) are investigating a blackmail case when the suspect is murdered.
Kitty Cameo: After hearing about the ruthless blackmailing, Sherlock Holmes breaks into the home of the man they suspect is behind the extortion. As he enters, an orange tabby cat is near the door.
As the cat runs away, Holmes comments to Watson about how the man owning a cat is yet another reason to dislike him.
Just as Holmes is finding the information he needs, the suspect named Milverton (David Mogentale) returns. Holmes is cut off at the back door by someone else and hides in another room. From there he watches as the suspect sits at his laptop, the cat on his lap. Shortly after this the suspect turns and is shot, the cat screeching. It is not clear whether or not the cat was shot or escaped.
Final Mewsings: Cats shouldn’t be casualties because of their owners.
