Burnt Orange Productions
Starring: Max Minghella, Blake Lively
Directed by: Will Geiger
Synopsis: Elvis (Max Minghella) is the son of a mortician who is planning to take over the family business when the body of Anabelle (Blake Lively) is brought in, leading to a strange and unlikely romance.
Purr Blur: This is one of those instances where a cat probably had a larger part in a film but was cut out. The only time a cat appears is when Anabelle sneaks into the embalming area. As she looks around, a white cat’s tail can just be seen behind her, jumping down off a table.
Moments later Anabelle is startled by Elvis. Sitting on the table behind them is the white cat, only seen for the briefest moment. The cat is not mentioned at any time. The trainer on the film was Ken Beggs working for Bobbi Colorado and the Wild Bunch.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like being left on the cutting room floor.
