Evan’s Corner (1969)

by Linda Kay

Directed by: Conrad Rothmann

Synopsis: A short, educational film adapted from a book by Elizabeth Starr Hill. A boy named Evan (Billy Baker) longs for a space of his own, but despite being given a corner in his family’s apartment and adding various items to it Evan still feels unhappy.

Purr Blurs: Evan decides that what his corner needs is a pet. He goes to the pet shop and looks around at various animals, including a cramped cage full of kittens.
