Synopsis: The story of Tevye (Topol), a Jewish milkman with five daughters living in a small village in pre-Revolutionary Russia.
Purr Blur: A student named Perchik (Paul Michael Glaser) comes to the village and Tevye offers the hungry young man a piece of cheese. Perchik finally accepts it as a cat walks along the porch of a home in the background.
