Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Loosely based on the popular book series by Margaret Sidney.  Mr. King (Clarence Kolb) is afraid he will lose his grandson Jasper (Ronald Sinclair) to Jasper’s aunt and sends the Pepper children to boarding school until he can decide what to do.  Unfortunately the Pepper children are subject to ridicule by their fellow students.

Purr Blur: Ginger, the orange tabby kitten seen in the previous two installments of this film series, only appears very briefly in this entry.  She is sitting in her bed on the floor when Phronsie and Polly are packing to go to the boarding school.  Phronsie asks why she can’t take Ginger with her and Polly points out that cats aren’t allowed in school.  Oddly enough Prince, the Great Dane, does go to the school with the kids but is never seen there or in the rest of the movie.

Ginger is mentioned once or twice in the film but not seen again and she also does not appear in the final film Five Little Peppers Out West (sources cite In Trouble as being the final film of the series but the plot of the films puts this one before Out West).

Final Mewsings: Considering how snotty the boarding school kids were Ginger was lucky to stay home!
