Synopsis: Helped by their childhood friend Lena, Bill and Robin develop a “reproducer” which can exactly duplicate any object. When Lena marries Robin, Bill is crushed and convinces her to allow him to duplicate her, so that he may have a copy of her for himself. 

Purr Blur: The story of the film is told by Dr. Harvey and he starts by introducing us to the local townsfolk of the quaint English village of Howdean where the story takes place. These include Mrs. Leggett who is seen feeding her chickens as a calico cat lounges nonchalantly near a water trough.

Final Mewsings: If we could duplicate cats the over population problem would be way worse!
