Synopsis: Riverboat singer and compulsive gambler Johnny (Elvis Presley) seeks a red-headed woman who is supposed to bring him luck.
Kitty Cameo: In one scene Johnny sits down on a sidewalk with a little boy playing harmonica and proceeds to sing a blues song about his troubles. As the song starts, a black cat scurries by in front of him. Johnny sings, “Black cat, keep away from me; take my advice, shinny up a tree.”
On the second line the cat crosses back behind Johnny and the boy and moves toward a doorway.
