Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Benjamin Purvis (Michael Angarano) is an aspiring science fiction writer who becomes disillusioned when his work is optioned for a poor movie adaptation as well as stolen by a noted sci-fi author.

Kitty Cameo: In one scene Benjamin is with his guardian angel Dusty (Mike White), a church-goer Benjamin’s mother has enlisted, in the back yard.  Dusty is shooting darts at a figure with a blowgun.  Dusty then sees a Himalayan cat walking in front of the target.

Dusty encourages Benjamin to take a shot at the cat with a tainted dart.  Benjamin resists at first then takes a shot, hitting his mother in the breast instead.

Final Mewsings: Sometimes bad aim is a good thing.
