Synopsis: The eccentric Dr. Boris Balinkoff (Vito Scotti) lands on the island and promises to rescue the castaways. He transports them to his own island castle retreat where they soon learn they are to become his latest experiments in personality transference.
Kitty Cameo: Gilligan (Bob Denver) and the Skipper (Alan Hale, Jr.) are brought to the doctor’s castle first and encounter a dog which meows like a cat. In the following scene Gilligan encounters an orange tabby cat and asks it to show the dog how it sounds.
The cat proceeds to bark like a dog. At the end of the show the cat and dog are both brought into play in teaching the doctor and his assistant Igor (Mike Mazurki) a lesson.
Final Mewsings: Any scientist who would switch a cat’s personality with a dog’s MUST be mad!
