Glorious Devon in the 50’s (circa 1950’s)

Directed by: Jack Sheppard

Synopsis: A couple (Joan Wenden and Graham Abbott) recount their holiday in Devon in this commercial travelogue for Hebble.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After a long hike the couple recount how they stopped for some Devonshire Clotted Cream Tea and raspberries. A brown tabby cat is then shown dipping a paw into a pitcher of cream and licking it off. “And anyway,” the woman explains, “everyone eats as much Devonshire cream as she can get.”
