Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Godzilla faces a deadly new enemy in a monster named Hedorah who feeds off pollution and smog and expels even more deadly chemicals which threaten all living things on Earth.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer) with Kitty Carnage Warning! At one point the monster begins to ooze into a groovy nightclub, causing the patrons to back away from the staircase which it is descending. Without explanation, the monster retreats, leaving a trail of slime and sludge on the steps. In the midst of this mire sits a poor, helpless kitty covered in muck and mewing pitifully. The cat was not seen before and it isn’t clear where he came from, but his inclusion helps scientists understand that Hedorah does not feed on living matter.
