Synopsis: This promotional music video includes the band members performing in various fashions while four cats also change wardrobe and impersonate the girls.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): The extended short film version of the video begins with the band members playing in a backyard and gossiping about a couple breaking up. We soon learn the couple they are talking about are actually cats and the girls smile at the kitties who are sitting in a nearby window.
The girls run inside and scoop up the cats, carrying them to a bedroom.
As the music portion begins, the four professional cat actors are given screen credit; a tabby and white cat named Lula, a Himalayan named Nino, a ginger tabby named Golden and a blue cat named Harold.
As the girls don berets in the first segment the cats all wear berets as well.
Later the cats are dressed like the girls as they pose as the various band members.
At the end, the cats are watching video footage on television of the girls when they were little.
The animal wranglers on the set were Guin Solomon, Thomas Maple, Brian Turi, Jubel Chen and Amy Rodriguez. The animals were kept protected during the shooting of the video, something confirmed by the band members themselves who explained during an interview how they were asked to stop playing basketball outside because it was disturbing for the cats.
Artwork featuring the band members as cats is available on a sweatshirt from their official site.
Final Mewsings: Cats would rather have the band members dress as kitties instead of the other way around.
Many thanks to Sis Cyn for letting us know about the cats in this video.
