Guilt is My Shadow (1950)

by Linda Kay

Directed by: Roy Kellino

Synopsis: Getaway driver Jamie (Peter Reynolds) panics when police arrive to arrest his cohorts outside the bank they are robbing and flees to his Uncle Kit’s (Patrick Holt) Devon cottage to escape capture.

Purr Blur: In one transition shot the scene fades in on a dog house as a small black cat emerges, followed by Kit’s dog.

The cat and dog go their separate ways, the cat’s being straight out of the movie.

Final Mewsings: Cats naturally look guilty when they’re caught coming out of dog houses.
