Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Serial killer Michael Meyers is on the loose again, this time setting out to kill a mute girl (Danielle Harris) and those around her.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): In one scene some friends, Tina (Wendy Kaplan), Samantha (Tamara Glynn) and Spitz (Matthew Walker) are attending a Halloween party. They play a joke on a couple of bumbling cops by having Spitz, who is dressed as the Shape, chase the girls out of the party. Samantha, who is dressed as a devil, then finds a tiny ginger tabby kitten near a barn.
The three friends walk into the barn to find the kitten’s family. As they enter, Spitz startles the girls.
They find a box with the kittens inside. A tuxedo kitten gets out and runs away, at first followed by a ginger sibling.
Tina chases after the tuxedo kitten and there are some tense moments in the darkness until the kitten jumps onto her hand, maybe one of the youngest spring loaded cats ever!
Tina carries the kitten back to the box. Later Samantha reaches in and picks up one of the ginger kittens and holds it up.
Samantha puts the kitten down and goes to make love with Spitz. Michael shows up and puts an end to that. When Tina returns to the barn she finds the ginger kitten covered with blood (that of the murdered friends).
Tina drops the kitten to the floor of the barn (very roughly, unfortunately) next to a bloody scythe. The kittens are not seen again.
Final Mewsings: At least the kittens survived the movie!
Many thanks to Leila Smith for letting us know about the kittens in this movie!
