Synopsis: During World War II, Lt. Thomas W. Hart (Colin Farrell) finds himself suddenly a prisoner of war and sent to a German camp where he ends up acting as the defense for a Tuskegee airman accused of murder.
Kitty Cameo: In several scenes at the POW camp the character Sgt. Carl S. Webb (Rory Cochrane) can be seen lying in his bunk with a tabby cat. The cat is first seen during Hart’s first night in the barracks, laying beside Webb.
The cat sleeps with Webb and is seen again another night.
In one scene Lt. Hart and Staff Sgt. Vic W. Bedford (Cole Hauser) are having a conversation. Webb is lying on his bunk nearby, petting the cat.
Final Mewsings: Cats can give comfort even in the bleakest situations.
