Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The prolific and mysterious gunslinger known as Paladin (Richard Boone) is hired by wealthy coward John Ellsworth (Parley Baer) to protect him against the fatal Bengali tiger curse.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): Ellsworth reacts violently when a black cat enters his home through a window, screaming for his Indian servant Pahndu (Paul Clarke) to kill the trespassing animal. Fortunately, Paladin blocks the attempt and the cat departs unscathed.
A few moments later, another cat, a ginger tabby, enters Ellsworth’s living room and jumps up on the fireplace mantle.
Mild Kitty Carnage Warning! Ellsworth approaches the cat to prove the validity of the curse to Paladin, and the tabby responds by snarling and leaping on to Ellsworth’s shoulder, who panics and knocks the cat to the floor.
It is very likely that members of the Orangey team played the ginger cat in this episode.
Final Mewsings: Cats have feelings, too, as stated in the episode, and should be treated with care, not violence.
