Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains a spoiler for this episode!
Synopsis: Lucy (Lucille Ball) causes havoc for her boss Harry (Gale Gordon) when she insists she can fix a broken light switch in his home. Chaos and destruction ensue.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After ripping up much of Harry’s living room, Lucy goes inside the wall to find the missing wires. She comes bursting out of the plaster screaming, claiming a wild animal attacked her in the dark. Harry reaches into the crevice and pulls out an adorable tiny gray and white kitten which he holds by the scruff.

Lucy turns and screams when she first sees the kitten.

Realizing it’s just a kitten, her heart melts and she gathers the tiny fuzzball in her hands and coos, “What’s new, Pussycat?”

Harry is infuriated and starts screaming, startling the kitten into clinging to Lucy’s shirt.

Fed up with the whole fiasco, Harry scoops the kitten away from Lucy and carries it to the doorway, tossing it gently through the door and imploring, “Oh, go home to mother!”

Final Mewsings: No one wondered what the kitten was doing inside the wall in the first place?
