High Speed Photography (1965)

British Pathé

Synopsis: Newsreel footage shows high speed photography experiments being filmed in John Hadland’s Studio Laboratory in England.

Reality Cats: Two cats are used as part of the filmed experiments. One is a beautiful calico which is dropped from a man’s hands to the ground so it can be seen turning in mid-air to land on its feet.

Another cat is given a saucer of milk so the lapping of its tongue can be filmed for the slo-mo process.
