Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: When a small town puts their cats out for the night they decide to get together and party.
Cartoon Cats: This is a fun and crazy animated short from the Fleischer Studios but it starts out with a bit of pathos as we see numerous cats unceremoniously dumped outside their front doors to face the cold night alone.
Eventually the cats come together in one yard and a black cat leads the others in song, instructing them that when he says “Hold it!” they are to freeze in place.
The cats play the musical game, freezing in some interesting positions.
Eventually a dog is disturbed by their racket and starts chasing them around, also freezing when instructed.
In the end the cats are triumphant and finish their game with some crazy expressions.
Final Mewsings: Cats are good at freezing!
