Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Bimbo is late for his date but has to call a doctor to come fix his car in this promotional animated short for Texaco Motor Oil.

Cartoon Cats: In the opening scene, Bimbo is lying in bed snoring under the blankets. With each snore the blankets rise and reveal the underside of the bed. At first there is a block of cheese. Then a mouse licking his lips where the cheese used to be. Then finally a cat licking his lips where the mouse used to be.

A cuckoo clock on the wall tries to awaken Bimbo, warning him “You’re gonna be late!” The cuckoo gets pulled back into the clock and then the head of a black cat emerges, licking his lips. He then also warns Bimbo, “You’re gonna be late!”

Final Mewsings: Cats are always hungry.
