Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains MAJOR spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Deaf author Maddie (Kate Siegel) finds herself the target of a sadistic killer and must use her wits to battle a foe she cannot hear.
Featured Feline: Early in the film we learn that Maddie owns a white Persian cat named Bitch. We see Maddie calling the cat to come in from outside by shaking some dry food in a bowl. Bitch runs into the house to eat.
Later when Maddie’s super loud smoke alarm goes off, Bitch runs outside again.
Later in the film Maddie is seen trying to call the cat. But Bitch doesn’t turn up again until almost the end when she unwittingly approaches the killer.
The man is about to slit Bitch’s throat when Maddie shoots him with one of his own arrows.
At the end of the film Maddie stumbles out of the house onto the porch where she sits down and Bitch joins her while they wait for the police. Bitch was played by Cinderella and Prince from Top Dog Talent Agency.
Final Mewsings: Cats appreciate being saved but may not always return the favor.
