Synopsis: Lovejoy Mason (June Archer) is a little girl living in war-torn London who has but one dream; to have her very own garden.

Kitty Cameo: At first Lovejoy tries planting her garden in an area of bombed-out buildings. When she first finds a little plot of earth she notices a Bengal-striped tabby cat sitting on a wall watching her.

Lovejoy runs at the cat and yells at it, scaring it away.

Later Lovejoy has planted some grass and places a net over it. She sees the cat watching her again and picks up a piece of rubble to throw, but the cat hurries away.

Final Mewsings: If you plant it, cats will come … and go.
