Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: In this educational short, Karen, Roger and Pete discuss the merits of helping others but have different opinions on the subject.
Kitty Cameo: Karen goes around helping everyone to the extent of doing everything for them. Roger thinks everyone should look out for themselves and undertakes the building of a dog house completely by himself. Meanwhile, Pete goes about his day delivering newspapers and genuinely helping people as he does so. He comes across a crying girl named Lisa whose little black kitten (Agnes?) is stuck in a tree.
The girl can’t reach the kitten so Pete offers to help. As he reaches into the tree, he has a little trouble pulling the kitten down from the branch. At one point Pete even says, “Ow, don’t scratch! I’m just trying to help you!”
Pete finally manages to lower the kitten and give her back to Lisa.

Final Mewsings: Kittens may not appreciate help when they’ve been stuck in a tree for an educational film.
