Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Once again, good-natured Bertie Wooster (Hugh Laurie) is set upon by one of his numerous relatives, in this instance his not totally unpleasant but extremely demanding Aunt Dahlia (Vivian Pickles), who inveigles Bertie to take part in a nebulous scheme to acquire a valuable cow-creamer at an inexpensive cost. With Bertie at the helm, the inevitable complications ensue, including a potential marital entanglement, and Jeeves (Stephen Fry) is called upon to work the magic necessary to restore tranquility and to ensure that Bertie remains in a state of unmarried bliss.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Just before Bertie enters the specialized antique shop, a long-haired tuxedo shop-cat meows and hops down from the shop counter.
Moments later, after Bertie has sneered at the 18th century silver cow-creamer (part of the nebulous plot to reduce the cost of the valuable object), he trips over the complaining cat as he steps to the door of the shop to examine the creamer in a better light.
Final Mewsings: Cats and antique shops are a natural and sublime match, but one must take care not to step on curious exploring kitties.
