Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Goodhearted Johnny (Michael Keaton) falls into a life of crime to help his ailing mother in this spoof of 30’s gangster films.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): The opening and ending of the film takes place in Kelly’s Pet Shop which Johnny owns. One cage in the middle of the store is filled with kittens.
At the end of the film, after telling his life story to a kid who was trying to shoplift a puppy at the beginning of the film, Johnny reaches into the window display and pulls out a tabby kitten. He gives the kitten a dusting with his cleaning cloth before handing him or her to the boy.
Final Mewsings: Kittens can help keep us on the straight and narrow path.
Many thanks to Nick Wale and Wahrhaftig for letting us know about the kittens in this film.
