Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: A Japanese TV show about ghosts decides to investigate the home where several murders, deaths and disappearances have occured.  Bad idea.

Cat Corpse (with obvious Kitty Carnage Warning):  In the beginning of the film actress Kyoko (Noriko Sakai) is riding in a car driven by her boyfriend Masashi (Ayumu Saitô).  He slams on the brakes and says he thinks he’s hit something.  Masashi gets out of the car and when Kyoko looks back she sees the black cat lying dead in the road.  Moments later she barely sees the ghost of Toshio (Yuya Ozeki) as he reaches out for his deceased pet.

Final Mewsings: Poor Mar got shafted in the sequel.
