Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Finch (David Spade) and Elliot (Enrico Colantoni) both try to outdo one another to win the love of Amy (Tiffani Thiessen).
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Finch manages to become Amy’s assistant and helps her set up her office. She places a photograph on her desk of a ginger and white tabby cat. “Who is this adorable ball of fur?” Finch asks. Amy explains it is her cat Mr. Caramel.
Later Amy is in a restaurant having dinner with Elliot when Finch comes in and says there was a call from her maid that something was wrong with her cat. Elliot convinces Amy that Finch is lying to break up their date. But when they get back to Amy’s apartment, Finch is there performing CPR on the cat who is lying on a coffee table.
Finch tells Amy that Mr. Caramel is having heart failure and that she should continue the chest compressions while he does mouth to nose resuscitation.
At last Mr. Caramel gets to his feet. Amy is overjoyed and hugs the cat.
Elliot continues to insist that Finch is making this all up and that the maid is lying for him. The maid insists that Mr. Caramel drank from her ammonia bottle.
Amy apologizes to Finch for not believing him then kicks Elliot out. After they both leave the room, Finch pays off the maid in Monopoly money.
