Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: High school student Dave Lizewski (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is tired of being a nobody so he dons a wet suit and the alter-ego of a super hero he dubs Kick-Ass.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After a bad first incident as Kick-Ass, Dave dons the suit again and goes out to help the public. He spots a poster on a telephone pole for a lost tabby cat named Mr. Bitey. Dave asks several people if they have seen the cat, even a couple of workers at a Chinese restaurant.
Kick-Ass finally spots Mr. Bitey high up on a billboard. He climbs up, calling to the cat. Mr. Bitey just moves further and further away.
Finally Kick-Ass is left dangling above the street and Mr. Bitey has moved clear to the other side of the sign. Just before he falls, Kick-Ass yells, “F*** you, Mr. Bitey!”
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t need rescuing.
