Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Reporter Carl Kolchak (Darren McGavin) investigates some mysterious deaths and accidents based around the fashion industry in which witchcraft may be playing a part.
Featured Feline: A model named Madeleine (Lara Parker) offers to help Kolchak with his investigation. He accompanies her to a location shoot. As they enter the building, Madeleine passes two fellow models, one of which is holding a long-haired white cat with a blue collar. Madeleine addresses the cat as Flo.
Later Kolchak leaves, passing by haughty model Ariel (Diana Quick) to whom Madeleine has just lost her job. Ariel is sitting on a couch. We see Flo sitting nearby and she jumps down.
Flo is then seen running across the floor.
With a screech Flo leaps onto Ariel’s face. Or rather the poor cat actor is tossed at the actress, who then has to pretend the animal is mauling her face. Of course the cat looks confused rather than vicious.
Ariel releases Flo who runs away as Ariel screams and holds her supposedly mutilated face.
Final Mewsings: Cat actors find it hard to play vicious when they are being tossed around.
